Location: East Coast About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to heavily interface with our customers within Field Applications to join our Innovation Group within the Professional Services organization at Kong. The Innovation Group is responsible for developing automated migration solutions using AI Coding Agents for our consultants to use during their consulting engagements. As a Senior Field Engineer in this group, you will be responsible for enhancing our Migration Automation Framework using state-of-the-art AI Coding Agents to build robust, scalable and reliable migration solutions. The role will blend software engineering, AI/LLM integration and API gateway expertise with strong customer-facing communication skills. In this role, you will interface and collaborate with a variety of peers and partners as well as everyone in the customer environment from Developers to Executives, representing Kong culture and values every day. Apart from driving the successful delivery of customer-facing migration solutions, you will also be working and collaborating closely with Kong’s different cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Success, CRE, and others).
